so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

The words I speak are like that. They will not return to me without producing results. They will accomplish what I want them to. They will do exactly what I sent them to do.

so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

“这比喻乃是这样：种子就是神的道。那些在路旁的，就是人听了道，随后魔鬼来，从他们心里把道夺去，恐怕他们信了得救。那些在磐石上的，就是人听道，欢喜领受，但心中没有根，不过暂时相信，及至遇见试炼就退后了。那落在荆棘里的，就是人听了道，走开以后，被今生的思虑、钱财、宴乐挤住了，便结不出成熟的子粒来。那落在好土里的，就是人听了道，持守在诚实善良的心里，并且忍耐着结实。”“没有人点灯用器皿盖上，或放在床底下，乃是放在灯台上，叫进来的人看见亮光。

为此，我们也不住地感谢神，因你们听见我们所传神的道就领受了；不以为是人的道，乃以为是神的道。这道实在是神的，并且运行在你们信主的人心中。

他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我们，叫我们在他所造的万物中好像初熟的果子。

因为十字架的道理，在那灭亡的人为愚拙；在我们得救的人，却为神的大能。

你们蒙了重生，不是由于能坏的种子，乃是由于不能坏的种子，是藉着神活泼常存的道。

就如一块田地，吃过屡次下的雨水，生长菜蔬，合乎耕种的人用，就从神得福；

我的教训要淋漓如雨；我的言语要滴落如露，如细雨降在嫩草上，如甘霖降在菜蔬中。

都是照他自己所预定的美意，叫我们知道他旨意的奥秘，要照所安排的，在日期满足的时候，使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督里面同归于一。我们也在他里面得了基业；这原是那位随己意行作万事的，照着他旨意所预定的，

“这事在我好像挪亚的洪水。我怎样起誓不再使挪亚的洪水漫过遍地，我也照样起誓不再向你发怒，也不斥责你。

使我仆人的话语立定，我使者的谋算成就。论到耶路撒冷说：‘必有人居住’；论到犹大的城邑说：‘必被建造，其中的荒场我也必兴起。’对深渊说：‘你干了吧！我也要使你的江河干涸。’论居鲁士说：‘他是我的牧人，必成就我所喜悦的，必下令建造耶路撒冷，发命立稳圣殿的根基。’”
