The Spirit of the Lord GOD[ is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to[ them that are] bound;

主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏抹我，要我传好消息给卑微的人；他派遣我去治愈心灵破碎的人，去宣告被掳的得自由、被囚的得释放，

主耶和華之神臨我、蓋耶和華膏我、俾傳嘉音於謙卑者、遣我醫傷心者、宣自由於俘虜、告開釋於繫囚、

受膏者曰、主耶和華以神感我、以膏沐我、俾傳福音於貧人、傷心者醫之、釋被擄於縲絏、出俘囚於囹圄、命我宣播。

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

The Spirit of the Lord and King is on me. The Lord has anointed me to announce good news to poor people. He has sent me to comfort those whose hearts have been broken. He has sent me to announce freedom for those who have been captured. He wants me to set prisoners free from their dark cells.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

The spirit of the sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has chosen me. He has commissioned me to encourage the poor, to help the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives, and the freeing of prisoners,

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,

The Spirit of the Lord[ is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison,[ and] them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,[ in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein[ is] no water.Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare[ that] I will render double unto thee;

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that[ are] in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures[ shall be] in all high places.

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The LORD[ is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there[ am] I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure[ unto him].

To open their eyes,[ and] to turn[ them] from darkness to light, and[ from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.And the servant abideth not in the house for ever:[ but] the Son abideth ever.If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Blessed[ are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed[ are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.Blessed[ are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;And[ that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

The sacrifices of God[ are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

As for me, this[ is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that[ is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God,[ even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

The humble shall see[ this, and] be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things[ is] death.But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

For all those[ things] hath mine hand made, and all those[ things] have been, saith the LORD: but to this[ man] will I look,[ even] to[ him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

[ This is] the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which[ were] at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
