For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.

Long ago you did some wonderful things we didn’t expect. You came down, and the mountains trembled when you showed your power.

When you did awesome things that we did not look for, you came down, the mountains quaked at your presence.

When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And oh, how the mountains quaked!

When you did awesome works that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.

當對神說：「你的作為多麼可畏！因你強大的能力，你的仇敵向你卑躬屈膝。

是他在含族之地行了奇妙之事，在紅海行了可畏之事。

你們當來，觀看神的作為！他向世人所行的事是可畏的：

那時，在神面前——在西奈山上的那一位面前，在神面前——在以色列的神面前，大地震動，諸天降雨。

願你裂天降臨，願群山在你面前震動

兩人將他的神蹟行在埃及人中間，將奇事行在含族之地。他發出黑暗，使那地黑暗；誰也沒有違背他的話。他把他們的水變成血，使他們的魚都死了。他們的地上、甚至他們君王的內室，都爬滿了青蛙。他一發話，成群的蒼蠅就來，蚊蟲遍滿他們的全境。他在他們的全境降下冰雹為雨、閃電為火。他擊打他們的葡萄樹和無花果樹，打斷他們境內的樹木。他一發話，蝗蟲和螞蚱就來，數不勝數，吃盡他們地上的一切植物，吃盡他們土地的出產。他又擊殺他們地上所有的長子，就是他們強壯時頭生的。

拯救我們的神哪，你以公義、用可畏的事回應我們，你是一切遠在天涯海角的人所依賴的！你以大能束腰，以自己的能力堅立群山。

世上有哪一國像你的子民以色列呢？神為自己贖回一個民族，為自己立名，為自己的地、在自己的子民面前，就是從埃及、列國和他們神明那裡救贖的子民面前，為他們行大而可畏的事。

他挫敗領袖們的心志，被地上的君王所敬畏。
