Then when desire conceives, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is full grown, it gives birth to death.

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

When these desires are allowed to remain, they lead to sin. And when sin is allowed to remain and grow, it leads to death.

Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.

Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

See the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, and gives birth to harmful lies–

They conceive trouble and bring forth evil; their belly prepares deception.”

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”

No one is concerned about justice; no one sets forth his case truthfully. They depend on false words and tell lies; they conceive of oppression and give birth to sin.

So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned–for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law.Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam( who is a type of the coming one) transgressed.But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people.For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Those who devise sinful plans are as good as dead, those who dream about doing evil as they lie in bed. As soon as morning dawns they carry out their plans, because they have the power to do so.They confiscate the fields they desire, and seize the houses they want. They defraud people of their homes, and deprive people of the land they have inherited.Therefore the LORD says this:“ Look, I am devising disaster for this nation! It will be like a yoke from which you cannot free your neck. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of catastrophe.

When the woman saw that the tree produced fruit that was good for food, was attractive to the eye, and was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

So what benefit did you then reap from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now a man named Ananias, together with Sapphira his wife, sold a piece of property.He kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back for yourself part of the proceeds from the sale of the land?

( Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying,“ The one I kiss is the man. Arrest him!”)Immediately he went up to Jesus and said,“ Greetings, Rabbi,” and kissed him.Jesus said to him,“ Friend, do what you are here to do.” Then they came and took hold of Jesus and arrested him.But one of those with Jesus grabbed his sword, drew it out, and struck the high priest’s slave, cutting off his ear.Then Jesus said to him,“ Put your sword back in its place! For all who take hold of the sword will die by the sword.Or do you think that I cannot call on my Father, and that he would send me more than twelve legions of angels right now?How then would the scriptures that say it must happen this way be fulfilled?”At that moment Jesus said to the crowd,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw? Day after day I sat teaching in the temple courts, yet you did not arrest me.But this has happened so that the scriptures of the prophets would be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled.Now the ones who had arrested Jesus led him to Caiaphas, the high priest, in whose house the experts in the law and the elders had gathered.But Peter was following him from a distance, all the way to the high priest’s courtyard. After going in, he sat with the guards to see the outcome.The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were trying to find false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death.

But to Adam he said,“ Because you obeyed your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you,‘ You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground thanks to you; in painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.It will produce thorns and thistles for you, but you will eat the grain of the field.By the sweat of your brow you will eat food until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you will return.”

but with Cain and his offering he was not pleased. So Cain became very angry, and his expression was downcast.Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Why are you angry, and why is your expression downcast?Is it not true that if you do what is right, you will be fine? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at the door. It desires to dominate you, but you must subdue it.”Cain said to his brother Abel,“ Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.

The wicked are turned back and sent to Sheol; this is the destiny of all the nations that ignore God,

Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death– the lake of fire.If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire.
