But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?

你们反倒羞辱贫穷人。那富足人岂不是欺压你们、拉你们到公堂去吗？

你们却羞辱贫穷的人。欺压你们，拉你们到公堂去的，不就是这些富有的人吗？

爾乃辱夫貧者、彼富者非挾制爾、曳爾至公庭乎、

何以爾反辱貧者乎、富者非挾制爾、拘曳爾、以至公庭乎、

爾竟辱貧人、富者非欺壓爾、曳爾至公庭乎、

而爾等竟敢輕慢貧人！夫富人非即以勢凌爾、扭爾以至公庭者乎？

But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?

But you have disrespected poor people. Aren’t rich people taking advantage of you? Aren’t they dragging you into court?

He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.

He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.

and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him,“ You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man,“ You stand there,” or,“ Sit here at my footstool,”

The Lord will enter into judgment With the elders of His people And His princes:“ For you have eaten up the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses.What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor?” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.

Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

So he crouches, he lies low, That the helpless may fall by his strength.

He sits in the lurking places of the villages; In the secret places he murders the innocent; His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them.

Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,

Now as they spoke to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them,being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.And they laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening.

For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor, He has violently seized a house which he did not build.

Jesus answered,“ I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.
