兄弟乎、爾曹不宜多人為師、蓋我儕為師者被鞫更嚴、

兄弟中多有好為人師者、是亦謬甚。應知為師者、責任最重。

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

My brothers and sisters, most of you shouldn’t become teachers. That’s because you know that those of us who teach will be held more accountable.

Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.

Do not become teachers in large numbers, my brothers, since you know that we who are teachers will incur a stricter judgment.

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment,

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we will be judged more strictly.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.

And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating.But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.

But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers.And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ.

not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.

For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged.But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

“ So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord has said:‘ Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.

for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher,

And he called him and said to him,‘ What is this that I hear about you? Turn in the account of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’

an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal?

“ A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.

Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

“ Judge not, that you be not judged.For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.If I say to the wicked,‘ You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples,“ Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

May the Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob any descendant of the man who does this, who brings an offering to the Lord of hosts!

Jesus answered him,“ Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?
