We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

All of us get tripped up in many ways. Suppose someone is never wrong in what they say. Then they are perfect. They are able to keep their whole body under control.

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.

因为“凡希望享受人生，要看见好日子的，就要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话；

因为你要照你的话被称为义，或定为有罪。”

照样，舌头虽然是个小肢体，却会说夸大的话。试看，星星之火，可以燎原；舌头就是火，在我们百体中，是个不义的世界，能污秽全身，把整个生命在运转中焚烧起来，而且是被地狱之火点燃的。

“如果你的子民得罪了你（没有不犯罪的世人），你向他们发怒，把他们交给仇敌，以致仇敌把他们掳到仇敌的地方，或是远或是近，

但忍耐要坚持到底（“坚持到底”原文作“有完全的功效”），使你们可以完全，毫无缺乏。

但圣经把所有的人都圈在罪中，好把那因信耶稣基督而来的应许，赐给相信的人。

世上实在没有一个行善而不犯罪的义人。

正如经上所说：“没有义人，连一个也没有，

就应谨守舌头，不出恶言，嘴唇不说欺诈的话。

谁能说：“我洁净了我的心，我是清洁无罪的”？

因此，我发现了一个律，就是我想向善的时候，恶就在我里面出现。

我要克制自己的身体，叫身体服我，免得我传了给别人，自己反而落选了。

我们众人都像不洁净的人，我们所有的义，都像污秽的衣服；我们众人都像叶子枯干，我们的罪孽好像风一般把我们吹去。

我们传扬他，是用各样的智慧，劝戒各人，教导各人，为了要使各人在基督里得到完全。

“如果你的子民得罪了你（因为世上没有不犯罪的人），你向他们发怒，把他们交在仇敌面前，以致仇敌把他们掳到外地或远或近；

因为肉体的私欲和圣灵敌对，圣灵也和肉体敌对；这两样互相敌对，使你们不能作自己愿意作的。

因为凡是遵守全部律法的，只要在一条上失足，就违犯所有的了。

在一切善事上成全你们，好使你们遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶稣基督在我们里面，行他所喜悦的事。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。

以巴弗问候你们，他是你们那里的人，是基督耶稣的仆人；他祷告的时候，常常竭力为你们祈求，好使你们在神的一切旨意中完全站稳，满有坚定的信念。

但满有恩典的神，就是在基督里召你们进入他永远荣耀的那一位，在你们受了短暂的苦难之后，必定亲自成全你们，坚固你们，赐力量给你们，建立你们。
