But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I[ am] the LORD; and[ there is] none else.

And he built his sanctuary like high[ palaces], like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that[ be] above the heavens.Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Who coverest[ thyself] with light as[ with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether[ they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what[ is] his name, and what[ is] his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I,[ even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
