When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

你能號令雲彩，使傾盆大雨覆蓋你嗎？你能命閃電發出，讓它聽候調遣嗎？

「你曾到過雪庫，或見過雹倉嗎？

誰為豪雨開水道，為雷電闢路徑，使雨水降在杳無人煙之地，降在無人居住的曠野，以滋潤荒涼不毛之地，使土地長出青草？

祂吸取水滴，使之在雲霧中化為雨，從雲端沛然降下，滋潤人間。誰能明白雲層的鋪展，及祂幔幕發出的雷聲？祂在四圍鋪展閃電，照亮大海的深處。祂藉此治理萬民，賜下豐富的食物。祂手握閃電，令它射向目標。雷聲顯明祂的作為，就連牲畜也能察覺。

請仔細聽祂發出的雷聲，聽祂口中發出的轟鳴。祂使閃電劃過整個天空，亮光直照到地極。隨後雷聲隆隆，祂發出威嚴之聲。祂一發聲，雷電交加。上帝發出奇妙的雷聲，我們無法測度祂偉大的作為。

耶和華的聲音迴盪在海上，榮耀的上帝打雷，在洪濤之上打雷。耶和華的聲音充滿能力；耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，耶和華劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹，使黎巴嫩山跳躍如小牛，西連山跳躍如野牛。耶和華的聲音攜閃電而來，震動曠野，震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音擊倒橡樹，使樹木凋零。眾人在祂殿中高呼：「榮耀歸於耶和華！」耶和華坐在洪濤之上，耶和華永遠坐著為王。

祂以雲霞遮蔽天空，降雨水滋潤大地，使山上長出綠草。

以利亞對亞哈說：「你去吃喝吧，因為我已聽見大雨將臨的聲音。」

霎時間，天上烏雲密佈，狂風大作，下起大雨。亞哈坐著馬車回耶斯列。耶和華的靈降在以利亞身上，他就束上腰帶，飛奔回城，在亞哈之前到達耶斯列的城門。

摩西向天伸出手杖，耶和華就發出雷電和冰雹，火光飛向大地。耶和華在埃及降下冰雹。

要在春季向耶和華求雨。祂創造雷雨，為世人降下甘霖，使田間長出青翠之物。

歌頌凌駕在萬古穹蒼之上的主。聽啊，祂聲如雷鳴。

耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出的聲音響徹在冰雹和火炭中。

你們都知道收割麥子的時候不會下雨。現在，我要向耶和華禱告，求祂打雷降雨，好讓你們知道，你們要求立王在耶和華眼中是多麼大的罪。」於是，撒母耳向耶和華呼求，耶和華便在當天打雷降雨，民眾非常害怕耶和華和撒母耳。

有耳不能聽，口中毫無氣息。
