My tent is destroyed; all its ropes are snapped. My children are gone from me and are no more; no one is left now to pitch my tent or to set up my shelter.

Jerusalem is like a tent that has been destroyed. All its ropes have snapped. My people have gone away from me. Now no one is left to set up my tent. I have no one to set up my shelter.

My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken; my children have gone from me, and they are not; there is no one to spread my tent again and to set up my curtains.

My home is gone, and no one is left to help me rebuild it. My children have been taken away, and I will never see them again.

毁灭的消息频传，因为全国尽都毁坏，我的帐棚忽然毁坏，我的幔子转瞬破裂。

耶和华这样说：“在拉玛听见有声音，是痛哭哀号的声音；拉结为她的儿女哀哭，不肯受安慰，因为他们都不在了。”

要扩张你帐幕的地方，伸展你居所的幔子，不要限制；要拉长你的绳索，坚固你的橛子。

看我的，他的眼再也看不到我，你的眼要看我，我已经不在了。

锡安的敌人成为主人；她的仇敌亨通。因为她的过犯众多，耶和华就使她受苦。她的孩童在敌人面前被掳去。

恶人倾覆，就不再存在；义人的家却必站立得住。

我把我的话放在你的口里，用我的手影蔽护你，好立定诸天，奠定大地的根基，对锡安说：‘你是我的子民。’”

他像仇敌拉弓，他的右手已经预备好。他像敌人把一切悦人眼目的都杀灭了；他如火的忿怒倒在锡安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的帐棚上。主好像成了仇敌；他吞灭了以色列和她所有的宫殿，毁坏了她的坚固城。他在犹大居民的中间，增添了悲哀和哭号。他把自己的住所破坏，好像园子一样；他毁坏了属他的聚会之处。耶和华使节期和安息日都在锡安被忘记；他在他的盛怒中弃绝了君王和祭司。

你丧子以后所生的儿女还要说给你听，说：‘这地方给我居住太狭窄了；求你给我预备地方居住吧！’那时你心里必说：‘我既丧子，又不能生育；我是被掳的，又是被放逐在外的，谁给我生了这些孩子呢？谁把这些孩子养大呢？看哪！我独自一人被撇下，这些孩子是从哪里来的呢？’”主耶和华这样说：“看哪！我必向列国举手，我要向万民竖立我的旗帜；他们要把你的儿子都抱在怀中带来，把你的女儿都放在肩上背来。
