My tent is destroyed; all its ropes are snapped. My children are gone from me and are no more; no one is left now to pitch my tent or to set up my shelter.

Jerusalem is like a tent that has been destroyed. All its ropes have snapped. My people have gone away from me. Now no one is left to set up my tent. I have no one to set up my shelter.

My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken; my children have gone from me, and they are not; there is no one to spread my tent again and to set up my curtains.

My home is gone, and no one is left to help me rebuild it. My children have been taken away, and I will never see them again.

張弓若仇、舉其右手、屹立若敵兮、凡娛目者、盡行誅滅兮、於郇女帷中、洩怒如火兮、主變為敵、吞噬以色列兮、毀其宮室、傾其保障兮、於猶大女中、增其哀號哭泣兮、強奪己之帷幕、視如園中之亭、毀壞會集之所兮、所定節期與安息日、耶和華使之忘於郇兮、赫然震怒、輕視君王祭司兮、

爾喪子時所生之子、將附耳語爾曰、壤地褊小、其恢廓之、俾我得居、爾將自謂、我既喪子、孑然一身、見逐流離、若輩誰所誕育耶、且我獨居、若輩何從而有耶、○主耶和華曰、我將舉手於列邦、張旆於諸民、彼必懷抱爾子、肩負爾女而來、
