勿效厥祖、斯代頑梗悖逆、其心不正、其神不堅於上帝兮、以法蓮裔持械執弓、臨戰卻退兮、不守上帝約、不從其律、

迨士師沒後、民仍轉而行惡、較甚於祖、從事他神、而跪拜之、不改其行、與其頑梗、

王與猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、祭司利未人、及所有民眾、無論長幼、咸上耶和華室、王誦耶和華室中、所得約書之言、俾眾聽聞、王立其所、在耶和華前立約、一心一意順從耶和華、守其誡命、法度典章、以成約書所載之言、命在耶路撒冷及便雅憫人眾、咸韙此約、於是耶路撒冷居民、遵其列祖之上帝之約而行、約西亞於以色列所屬各地、除其可憎之物、使凡在以色列者、奉事其上帝耶和華、約西亞存日、民眾從其列祖之上帝耶和華、不離棄之、

當憶弗忘、爾在曠野、激爾上帝耶和華之怒、自出埃及至此、爾違逆耶和華、

非依我與其先祖所立之約、即在援其手導之出埃及時者、主云、彼不恆守我約、故我弗眷顧之、

與背耶和華、而不從之者、及不尋求耶和華、而不訪之者、○

爾曹強項、心與耳未受割者、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦行之、先知中、不為爾祖窘逐者誰乎、且殺預言義者將至之人、此義者爾今賣而殺之矣、

轉而背之、行詐如其列祖、變其趨向、如偏反之弓兮、

此因以色列人獲罪於其上帝耶和華、即導之出埃及、脫於埃及王法老手者、彼乃寅畏他神、循耶和華於以色列人前、所逐異族之例、及以色列諸王所立之例、以色列人私行不正之事、背逆其上帝耶和華、於其諸邑、自戍樓至堅城、建築崇邱、在山岡之上、綠樹之下、立柱像與木偶、焚香於諸崇邱、效耶和華於其前所逐之異族、行諸惡事、激耶和華之怒、崇事偶像、即耶和華所言不可為者、耶和華藉諸先知先見、戒以色列與猶大人曰、當轉離爾之惡途、守我誡命典章、循我所命爾列祖、及藉我僕眾先知授爾之法、惟彼弗聽、強項不馴、如其不信厥上帝耶和華之列祖、違棄上帝之典章、及與其列祖所立之約、並戒之之言、從虛無而變為虛妄、效四周異邦、即耶和華所命勿效之者、違棄其上帝耶和華一切誡命、鑄二犢像、製造木偶、崇拜天象、奉事巴力、使其子女經火、用卜筮邪術、自鬻而行耶和華所惡、以激其怒、耶和華震怒以色列人、擯於其前、惟遺猶大支派而已、猶大亦不守其上帝耶和華之誡命、乃從以色列人所立之例、耶和華棄以色列全族、而困苦之、付於虜者之手、擯於其前、

爾獻餅脂血時、導心身未受割之外人、入我聖地、污我室、背我約、以增爾可惡之事、

棄我典章、蔑我律例、違我誡命、背我盟約、

毋效爾列祖、古先知呼之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、轉離爾之惡途惡行、惟彼不聽、不從我言、耶和華言之矣、

非依我與其祖之約、即援其手、導出埃及時所立者、我雖為其夫、彼乃背我約、耶和華言之矣、

彼雖回轉、然不向上、有若偏反之弓、其牧伯口出狂言、必仆於刃、在埃及地為人姍笑、爾口吹角、敵至若鷹、攻耶和華之家、因民爽我約、干我律、
