所以萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，我必懲罰他們；他們的壯丁必被刀劍殺死，他們的兒女必因饑荒而死，

所以万军之耶和华如此说：“看哪，我必刑罚他们；他们的少年人必被刀剑杀死，他们的儿女必因饥荒灭亡，

因此萬軍之永恆主這麼說：『看吧，我必察罰他們；他們的青年人必死於刀下；他們的兒女必在饑荒中滅盡；

故萬軍之耶和華曰、我必罰之、少壯必亡於鋒刃、子女必死於饑饉、

therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says:“ I will punish them. Their young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine.

So the Lord who rules over all says,“ I will punish them. Their young men will be killed by swords. Their sons and daughters will die of hunger.

therefore thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword, their sons and their daughters shall die by famine,

So this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says about them:“ I will punish them! Their young men will die in battle, and their boys and girls will starve to death.

Therefore, this is what the LORD of Armies says:“ I am about to punish them. The young men will die by the sword; their sons and daughters will die by famine.

therefore thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword, their sons and their daughters shall die by famine;

Therefore, this is what the Lord of Hosts says:“ I am about to punish them. The young men will die by the sword; their sons and daughters will die by famine.

So the LORD who rules over all said,“ I will surely punish them! Their young men will be killed in battle. Their sons and daughters will die of starvation.

therefore Yahweh of Armies says,‘ Behold, I will punish them. The young men will die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters will die by famine.

因此，願他們的兒女忍受饑荒，願他們死於刀劍之手；願他們的妻無子，且作寡婦，願他們的男人被死亡所滅，他們的壯丁在陣上被刀擊殺。

所以，耶和華使迦勒底人的王來攻擊他們，在他們聖殿裏用刀殺了他們的壯丁，不憐憫他們的少男少女、老人長者。耶和華把所有的人都交在他手裏。

這些猶太人不但殺了主耶穌和先知們，又把我們趕出去。他們令神不悅，且與眾人為敵，阻撓我們傳道給外邦人，使他們得救，以致常常惡貫滿盈，但神的憤怒終於臨到他們身上。

年輕人和老年人躺臥在街上，我的少女和壯丁都倒在刀下。你在發怒的日子殺了他們，你殺戮，並不顧惜。

因為死亡從窗戶進來，進入我們的宮殿，從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年。
