「所以萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我必向你們變臉降災，以致剪除猶大眾人。

我向他們留意降禍不降福；在埃及地的一切猶大人必因刀劍、饑荒所滅，直到滅盡。

雖被仇敵擄去，我必命刀劍殺戮他們；我必向他們定住眼目，降禍不降福。

我必向他們變臉；他們雖從火中出來，火卻要燒滅他們。我向他們變臉的時候，你們就知道我是耶和華。

用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。

迦勒底人用火焚燒王宮和百姓的房屋，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆。

迦勒底人焚燒神的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裏的宮殿，毀壞了城裏寶貴的器皿。

你若不出去歸降巴比倫王的首領，這城必交在迦勒底人手中。他們必用火焚燒，你也不得脫離他們的手。」

「耶和華－以色列的神說，你去告訴猶大王西底家，耶和華如此說：我要將這城交付巴比倫王的手，他必用火焚燒。

耶和華如此說：這城必要交在巴比倫王軍隊的手中，他必攻取這城。」

耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從世上除滅他們的名號。

「人必將你的后妃和你的兒女帶到迦勒底人那裏；你也不得脫離他們的手，必被巴比倫王的手捉住；你也必使這城被火焚燒。」

「凡以色列家中的人，或是寄居在他們中間的外人，若吃甚麼血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從民中剪除。

我要向你們變臉，你們就要敗在仇敵面前。恨惡你們的，必轄管你們；無人追趕，你們卻要逃跑。

我就必使這殿如示羅，使這城為地上萬國所咒詛的。』」

耶和華說：我必吩咐他們回到這城，攻打這城，將城攻取，用火焚燒。我也要使猶大的城邑變為荒場，無人居住。」

你們若不聽從我，不以安息日為聖日，仍在安息日擔擔子，進入耶路撒冷的各門，我必在各門中點火；這火也必燒毀耶路撒冷的宮殿，不能熄滅。」

耶和華如此說：我必將這城交付迦勒底人的手和巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手，他必攻取這城。攻城的迦勒底人必來放火焚燒這城和其中的房屋。在這房屋上，人曾向巴力燒香，向別神澆奠，惹我發怒。以色列人和猶大人自從幼年以來，專行我眼中看為惡的事；以色列人盡以手所做的惹我發怒。這是耶和華說的。這城自從建造的那日直到今日，常惹我的怒氣和忿怒，使我將這城從我面前除掉；

迦勒底人必再來攻打這城，並要攻取，用火焚燒。耶和華如此說：你們不要自欺說「迦勒底人必定離開我們」，因為他們必不離開。你們即便殺敗了與你們爭戰的迦勒底全軍，但剩下受傷的人也必各人從帳棚裏起來，用火焚燒這城。』」

只是我的言語和律例，就是所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們列祖嗎？他們就回頭，說：『萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的行動作為向我們怎樣行，他已照樣行了。』」

我也要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除；因為他把兒女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地人若佯為不見，不把他治死，我就要向這人和他的家變臉，把他和一切隨他與摩洛行邪淫的人都從民中剪除。
