那些死於刀下的比餓死的還好；餓死的因缺乏田間的出產，就日漸消瘦而死亡。

義人死亡，沒有人放在心上；虔誠人去世，也沒有人明白；義人去世，是脫離了禍患。

因為論到猶大王約西亞的兒子，就是繼承他父親約西亞作王的沙龍，耶和華這樣說：“他離開了這地方，必不得再回來；

他的臣僕把他的屍體從米吉多用馬車運載，送到耶路撒冷，把他埋葬在他自己的墳墓裡。國民選舉約西亞的兒子約哈斯，膏了他，立他接續他父親作王。約哈斯登基時是二十三歲，他在耶路撒冷作王三個月。他母親名叫哈慕他，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。他行耶和華看為惡的事，好像他的祖先所行的。法老尼哥把他囚禁在哈馬地的利比拉，使他不能在耶路撒冷作王；又罰了猶大國三千公斤銀子和三十公斤金子。法老尼哥另立約西亞的兒子以利雅敬接續他的父親約西亞作王，改了他的名字作約雅敬。他俘擄了約哈斯，把他帶到埃及，他就死在那裡。

因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華這樣說：“人必不為他哀傷，說：‘哀哉，我哥哥！’‘哀哉，我姊姊！’人必不為他哀傷，說：‘哀哉，主上！’‘哀哉，尊榮的王！’

弓箭手射中了約西亞王；王對他的臣僕說：“你們把我帶走吧，因為我受了重傷。”他的臣僕把他從戰車上扶下來，放在他的第二輛戰車上，把他送回耶路撒冷去，他跟著就死了，埋葬在他列祖的墳墓裡。猶大和耶路撒冷的眾人都為約西亞哀悼。耶利米為約西亞作了哀歌；所有歌唱的男女都唱哀歌，哀悼約西亞，直到今日；甚至在以色列中成了定例。這歌記在哀歌書上。

因此，看哪，我要使你歸到你的祖先那裡，你必平平安安地葬在你的墳墓裡；你不會看見我要降在這地的一切災禍。’”他們就把這話向王回報。

牠養大其中一隻小獅子，這幼獅成了一隻少壯的獅子，學會了撕碎獵物，把人吃掉。列國聽見了，就把牠困在他們的坑中；他們用鈎子把牠帶到埃及地去。

耶穌轉過身來對她們說：“耶路撒冷的女兒啊，不要為我哭，卻要為你們自己和你們的兒女哭。
