For this is what the Lord says about the palace of the king of Judah:“ Though you are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, I will surely make you like a wasteland, like towns not inhabited.

The Lord speaks about the palace of the king of Judah. He says,“ You are like the land of Gilead to me. You are like the highest mountain in Lebanon. But I will make you like a desert. You will become like towns that no one lives in.

For thus says the Lord concerning the house of the king of Judah:“‘ You are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, yet surely I will make you a desert, an uninhabited city.

Now this is what the Lord says concerning Judah’s royal palace:“ I love you as much as fruitful Gilead and the green forests of Lebanon. But I will turn you into a desert, with no one living within your walls.

For this is what the LORD says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are like Gilead to me, or the summit of Lebanon, but I will certainly turn you into a wilderness, uninhabited cities.

For this is what the Lord says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are like Gilead to Me, Like the summit of Lebanon; Yet most assuredly I will make you a wilderness, Cities that are not inhabited.

For thus says the Lord to the house of the king of Judah:“ You are Gilead to Me, The head of Lebanon; Yet I surely will make you a wilderness, Cities which are not inhabited.

For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon; yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

For this is what the Lord says concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are like Gilead to Me, or the summit of Lebanon, but I will certainly turn you into a wilderness, uninhabited cities.

For thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou[ art] Gilead unto me,[ and] the head of Lebanon:[ yet] surely I will make thee a wilderness,[ and] cities[ which] are not inhabited.

“‘ For the LORD says concerning the palace of the king of Judah,“ This place looks like a veritable forest of Gilead to me. It is like the wooded heights of Lebanon in my eyes. But I swear that I will make it like a wilderness whose towns have all been deserted.

For Yahweh says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.

我就说：“主啊，这到几时为止呢？”他说：“直到城邑荒凉，无人居住，房屋空闲无人，地土极其荒凉。

使肥地变为碱地；这都因其间居民的罪恶。

所以因你们的缘故，锡安必被耕种像一块田，耶路撒冷必变为乱堆；这殿的山必像丛林的高处。

因为坚固城变为凄凉，成了撇下离弃的居所，像旷野一样；牛犊必在那里吃草，在那里躺卧，并吃尽其中的树枝。

那时，我必使犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，都止息了，因为地必成为荒场。”

我必使耶路撒冷变为乱堆，为野狗的住处，也必使犹大的城邑变为荒场，无人居住。”

“当犹大王希西家的日子，有摩利沙人弥迦对犹大众人预言说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：锡安必被耕种像一块田；耶路撒冷必变为乱堆；这殿的山必像丛林的高处。’

他们坐下吃饭，举目观看，见有一伙米甸的以实玛利人从基列来，用骆驼驮着香料、乳香、没药，要带下埃及去。

求你容我过去，看约旦河那边的美地，就是那佳美的山地和黎巴嫩。’

我就必使这殿如示罗，使这城为地上万国所咒诅的。’”耶利米在耶和华殿中说的这些话，祭司、先知与众民都听见了。耶利米说完了耶和华所吩咐他对众人说的一切话，祭司、先知与众民都来抓住他，说：“你必要死！你为何托耶和华的名预言，说这殿必如示罗，这城必变为荒场无人居住呢？”于是众民都在耶和华的殿中聚集到耶利米那里。

耶和华又说：我必按你们做事的结果刑罚你们；我也必使火在耶路撒冷的林中着起，将他四围所有的尽行烧灭。”

你要对他们这样说，主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，在荒场中的，必倒在刀下；在田野间的，必交给野兽吞吃；在保障和洞里的，必遭瘟疫而死。我必使这地荒凉，令人惊骇；她因势力而有的骄傲也必止息。以色列的山都必荒凉，无人经过。

我必召北方的众族和我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围一切的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。我又要使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光，从他们中间止息。

毁坏的信息连络不绝，因为全地荒废。我的帐棚忽然毁坏；我的幔子顷刻破裂。

耶和华说：“犹大王约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅虽是我右手上带印的戒指，我凭我的永生起誓，也必将你从其上摘下来，

看哪，耶和华使地空虚，变为荒凉；又翻转大地，将居民分散。那时百姓怎样，祭司也怎样；仆人怎样，主人也怎样；婢女怎样，主母也怎样；买物的怎样，卖物的也怎样；放债的怎样，借债的也怎样；取利的怎样，出利的也怎样。地必全然空虚，尽都荒凉；因为这话是耶和华说的。地上悲哀衰残，世界败落衰残；地上居高位的人也败落了。地被其上的居民污秽；因为他们犯了律法，废了律例，背了永约。所以，地被咒诅吞灭；住在其上的显为有罪。地上的居民被火焚烧，剩下的人稀少。

他的腿好像白玉石柱，安在精金座上；他的形状如黎巴嫩，且佳美如香柏树。

“至于犹大王的家，你们当听耶和华的话。

我必在这地方使犹大和耶路撒冷的计谋落空，也必使他们在仇敌面前倒于刀下，并寻索其命的人手下。他们的尸首，我必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。我必使这城令人惊骇嗤笑；凡经过的人，必因这城所遭的灾惊骇嗤笑。
