凡民願項負巴比倫王之軛而服事之、我必使彼存留故土、仍得耕種安居、此乃主所言、

But if any nation will bow its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let that nation remain in its own land to till it and to live there, declares the Lord.”’”

But the people of any nation that submits to the king of Babylon will be allowed to stay in their own country to farm the land as usual. I, the Lord, have spoken!’”

Things will go better for the nation that submits to the yoke of servitude to the king of Babylon and is subject to him. I will leave that nation in its native land. Its people can continue to farm it and live in it. I, the LORD, affirm it!”’”

沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利向他们和属他们的人起誓说：“不要怕服侍迦勒底人，只管住在这地，服侍巴比伦王，就可以得福。至于我，我要住在米斯巴，伺候那到我们这里来的迦勒底人；只是你们当积蓄酒、油，和夏天的果子，收在器皿里，住在你们所占的城邑中。”在摩押地和亚扪人中，在以东地和各国的一切犹大人，听见巴比伦王留下些犹大人，并立沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利管理他们。这一切犹大人就从所赶到的各处回来，到犹大地的米斯巴基大利那里，又积蓄了许多的酒，并夏天的果子。

‘你们若仍住在这地，我就建立你们，必不拆毁，栽植你们，并不拔出，因我为降与你们的灾祸后悔了。不要怕你们所怕的巴比伦王。’”耶和华说：“不要怕他！因为我与你们同在，要拯救你们脱离他的手。

我就照这一切的话对犹大王西底家说：“要把你们的颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，服侍他和他的百姓，便得存活。
