如彼果為先知、奉耶和華之命、則當祈萬軍之耶和華、俾在耶和華室、猶大王宮、耶路撒冷、尚存之器、不被遷於巴比倫、

如彼誠先知、奉耶和華命、則可祈萬有之主耶和華、使其殿宇、及猶大王宮、耶路撒冷邑所遺之器皿、必不遷於巴比倫。

如彼誠為先知、誠奉主之命、則可祈萬有之主、使在主殿、猶大王宮、及耶路撒冷所遺之器皿、不遷於巴比倫、

If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead with the Lord Almighty that the articles remaining in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be taken to Babylon.

If they are prophets and have received a message from me, let them pray to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. Those prophets should pray that what is still in Jerusalem will remain here. They should pray that the objects in my house and the king’s palace will not be taken to Babylon.

If they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, then let them intercede with the Lord of hosts, that the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.

If they really are prophets and speak the Lord’s messages, let them pray to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Let them pray that the articles remaining in the Lord’s Temple and in the king’s palace and in the palaces of Jerusalem will not be carried away to Babylon!’

If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them intercede with the LORD of Armies not to let the articles that remain in the LORD’s temple, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem go to Babylon.’

But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, have them now plead with the Lord of armies that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord and the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem do not go to Babylon.

I also told them,“ If they are really prophets and the LORD is speaking to them, let them pray earnestly to the LORD who rules over all. Let them plead with him not to let the valuable articles that are still left in the LORD’s temple, in the royal palace, and in Jerusalem be taken away to Babylon.

But if they are prophets, and if Yahweh’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to Yahweh of Armies, that the vessels which are left in Yahweh’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.

他们对撒母耳说：“请你为我们不停地呼求我们的上帝耶和华，求祂从非利士人手中拯救我们。”

他们求撒母耳，说：“求你为仆人们向你的上帝耶和华祈祷，免得我们死亡！因为我们要求立王是罪上加罪。”

至于我，我会不断地为你们祈祷，免得我得罪耶和华。我会教导你们行善道、走正路。

人岂能以恶报善？他们竟设陷阱谋害我，求你回想我怎样站在你面前为他们求情，怎样求你不要向他们发烈怒。

然后，你们求告你们神明的名字，我求告耶和华，那听祷告降下火来的就是上帝。”众人非常赞同他的主意。

所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代祷，好得到医治。义人的祷告有极大的力量和功效。以利亚先知和我们一样同是血肉之躯，他恳切地祈求不要下雨，结果三年半没有下雨。后来他再祷告求雨，天就降雨，地也长出了庄稼。

于是，希西迦王和亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚先知向天上的上帝呼求祷告。

耶和华说：“耶利米啊，不要为这些百姓祷告，不要替他们哀求，不要为他们向我祈求，因为我必不听。

现在你们要取七头公牛和七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里，为自己献上燔祭，因为你们对我的议论不如我仆人约伯说的有理。我仆人约伯会为你们祷告，我会悦纳他的祷告，不按你们的愚妄惩罚你们。”于是，提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达和拿玛人琐法遵命而行，耶和华悦纳了约伯的祷告。

耶和华对我说：“就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不会怜悯这些百姓。你把他们从我面前赶走吧！

我想在他们中间寻找一位重修城墙的人，站在我面前为这地方堵住缺口，免得我毁灭这里。可是，我一个也找不到。

纵然这三个义人在那里，我凭我的永恒起誓，他们也不能救自己的儿女，只能自己得救。这是主耶和华说的。倘若我叫瘟疫在那里肆虐，发烈怒毁灭那里的人和牲畜，纵然挪亚、但以理和约伯在那里，我凭我的永恒起誓，他们也不能救自己的儿女，只能因义行而自己得救。这是主耶和华说的。

对耶利米先知说：“求你答应我们的恳求，为我们这些余民向我们的上帝耶和华祈求。你也看见了，我们本来人数众多，现在却寥寥无几。

现在，你们祈求上帝向我们施恩吧！然而，你们献上这样的祭物，祂怎会垂听你们的祈求呢？

亚伯拉罕祈求上帝，上帝就治好了亚比米勒，也使他妻子和众婢女恢复了生育能力。

即使挪亚、但以理和约伯三人在那里，他们也只能因义行而自己得救。这是主耶和华说的。

他们取了公牛预备好，然后从早上到正午不断地呼求：“巴力啊，求你应允我们！”可是毫无动静。他们又绕着自己筑的祭坛跳个不停。

倘若城中有五十个义人，你还要毁灭那城吗？你会不会为了五十个义人而饶恕那座城呢？你绝不会黑白不分，把义人和恶人一同毁灭。你是普天下的审判者，难道不秉公行事吗？”耶和华回答说：“倘若我在所多玛城中找到五十个义人，我就要因他们的缘故饶恕全城。”亚伯拉罕说：“主啊，虽然我渺小如灰尘，但我还要大胆地求问你，倘若只有四十五个义人，你会因为少了五个义人而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“倘若我在城里找到四十五个义人，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕又说：“倘若在那里找到四十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那四十个人的缘故，我不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要发怒，容许我再问一次，倘若在那里只找到三十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“倘若在那里只找到三十个，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕说：“我大胆再问一次，倘若在那里只找到二十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那二十个人的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕又说：“求主不要发怒，让我问最后一次，倘若在那里只找到十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那十个人的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”耶和华跟亚伯拉罕说完话便离开了，亚伯拉罕也回家去了。
