And I will make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”

“ Return, you faithless sons, I will heal your faithlessness.”“ Behold, we come to You; For You are the Lord our God.

They hold on to deceit, They refuse to return.I have listened and heard, They have spoken what is not right; No one repented of his wickedness, Saying,‘ What have I done?’ Everyone turned to his own course, Like a horse charging into the battle.

He has rejected your calf, Samaria, saying,“ My anger burns against them!” How long will they be incapable of innocence?

Since Israel is stubborn Like a stubborn cow, Will the Lord now pasture them Like a lamb in a large field?

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
