I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear an oath by no one greater, He swore by Himself,saying,“ indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.

I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord God.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I will also give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me wholeheartedly.

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Is like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, When the fresh grass springs out of the earth From sunshine after rain.’

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,

They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come so that they may join themselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.

Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently.

in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.Brothers and sisters, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it.Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say,“ And to seeds,” as one would in referring to many, but rather as in referring to one,“ And to your seed,” that is, Christ.What I am saying is this: the Law, which came 430 years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise.

I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.And I will give to you and to your descendants after you the land where you live as a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”God said further to Abraham,“ Now as for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: every male among you shall be circumcised.And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and you.And every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised throughout your generations, including a slave who is born in the house or who is bought with money from any foreigner, who is not of your descendants.A slave who is born in your house or who is bought with your money shall certainly be circumcised; so My covenant shall be in your flesh as an everlasting covenant.

To show mercy to our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,The oath which He swore to our father Abraham,To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Would serve Him without fear,In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.

My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.”

Therefore, we must fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.

For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their reward, And make an everlasting covenant with them.

The earth is also defiled by its inhabitants, for they violated laws, altered statutes, and broke the everlasting covenant.
