I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

I will make a covenant with them that will last forever. I promise that I will never stop doing good to them. I will cause them to respect me. Then they will never turn away from me again.

耶和華曰、時日伊邇、我與以色列族猶大家將立新約。昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。我必與以色列族、共立新約、我將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民。

且未有大於上帝者、其許亞伯拉罕時、指己而誓、曰、吾必大賚爾福祉、昌熾爾子孫、亞伯拉罕恆忍以待、故獲所許、凡人之誓、必指大於己者、誓所以堅其信、而違言息矣、上帝欲使將得福之人、知其旨不易、故實之以誓、上帝真實無妄、既許之而復誓之、皆不可易、吾素避難、冀得所許之福、大可慰藉、

以新心賜爾、去其頑梗之性、賜以易化之心、

我必賦以善心、俾知我乃耶和華、一心歸誠、彼為我選民、我為其上帝。

善施大賚、均自上出、由昭明之父而降、彼毫釐不爽、晷刻不移、

彼如旭日晨光、猶朝無雲、雨後日出、草萌其芽。

昔吾主耶穌流永堅約之血、為大牧、賜平康之上帝甦之、

俱望郇邑、勤詢厥路、歸誠於我、與我結約、歷世弗忘。

我儕知萬事沓來、無非益諸愛上帝者、即依其旨而見召也、其所知者、則預定效其子、使彼為眾子中冢子、其所預定者、則召之、所召者、則稱義之、所稱義者、則加榮之、然則何可言耶、若上帝祐我、誰能敵我、不惜己子、為我眾捨之、豈不以萬物並賜我歟、誰能訟上帝選民乎、上帝稱義之矣、誰能罪之乎、基督死而復生、居上帝右、恆保我矣、誰能絕我於基督之愛、或患難、或阨窮、或窘逐、或饑餓、裸裎、或艱危、白刃乎、如經云、我緣主終日見殺、如羊就死地、然我賴愛我者、故勝諸事而有餘、蓋我知或死生、或天使、或執政、或有能、或今時將來、或高卑受造之物、皆不能絕我於上帝之愛、要惟賴吾主耶穌基督為然、

耶穌永存、故其祭司職、未嘗易人、

使亞伯拉罕之福、由基督耶穌、施及異邦人、致我能信、可受上帝所許之聖神焉、兄弟乎、吾試因人所言言之、人之盟約既定、則無得而增損之、上帝所許亞伯拉罕及其裔、非指眾裔言之、乃指其裔一人、即基督也、我亦云、昔上帝、既緣基督預立盟約、則非四百三十年後之律法所能廢、使應許無有、

我將與爾、及爾歷代苗裔、立我永約、為爾及爾裔之上帝、爾所旅者、即迦南一境、我將以之賜爾及爾苗裔、永為恆產、我亦為其上帝。○又曰、爾及後裔、必守我約、歷代勿替、爾中男子、咸宜受割禮、即我賜爾及爾後裔所必守之約。故爾陽之皮必受割、以徵我賜爾之約。爾歷代男子、或生於爾家、或鬻自異邦、非爾苗裔、既生八日、皆必受割。家所生者、金所鬻者、俱必受割、如是、我約必加於爾身、以為永約。

矜恤我祖、念其聖命、即與我祖亞伯拉罕所矢之誓、謂將拯我於敵手、畢生在主前、以虔以義、無懼而事之、

我羊聽我聲、我識之、而羊從我、我賜之永生、終不沉淪、無能奪之於我手、父賜我以羊、父大於萬有無能奪之於父手、我與父一也、

上帝既許我享其安息、當慎思慮、恐有不及、

耶和華曰、公義者我所深愛、強據不義者我所痛疾、我與選民、曾立永約、言出惟行。必視其所為而報之。
