All who pass by clap their hands at you; They hiss and shake their heads At the daughter of Jerusalem:“ Is this the city that is called‘ The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth’?”All your enemies have opened their mouth against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. This is the rejoicing city That dwelt securely, That said in her heart,“ I am it, and there is none besides me.” How has she become a desolation, A place for beasts to lie down! Everyone who passes by her Shall hiss and shake his fist.

therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; Dedan shall fall by the sword.
