主曰、昔所多瑪、俄摩拉、及其鄰邑傾覆、以東亦必若是、無人居於彼、無人旅於彼、

夏瑣將為豺狼豺狼或作野犬之洞穴、永遠荒蕪、無人居處、無人寄旅、○

不屬之者居於其幕、或有硫磺撒於其所、其根槁於下、其枝枯於上、其誌必滅於地、其名不留於世、必自光明見逐於黑暗、必被驅出乎世界、

萬有之主以色列之天主曰、我指己永生而誓、摩押必若所多瑪、亞捫族必若俄摩拉、蒺藜叢生、斥鹵遍地、蒺藜叢生斥鹵遍地或作必成長蒺藜有鹽坑之地必恆荒蕪、我之遺民、必掠其貨財、得其地業、我之遺民必掠其貨財得其地業或作我子民之餘者必掠其貨財我百姓之餘者必得其地業

主雨硫磺與火於所多瑪俄摩拉、乃主自天降之、或作主於所多瑪及俄摩拉由主前自天降硫磺與火以城邑平原居民、及地所產之物、盡滅之、

又擬定傾覆所多瑪及俄摩拉二邑、焚為灰燼、以警後世之惡者、

所多瑪俄摩拉並四周之邑、亦似彼眾行淫、從逆理之慾、遂受火焚之永刑、以為烱戒、

晝夜不滅、煙焰永遠上騰、歷世荒蕪、無人經行其間、至於永遠、

素於萬邦中最為宏麗、迦勒底人所恃為己榮、且因驕傲之巴比倫、必見傾覆、如天主傾覆所多瑪俄摩拉然、永無居民、世無人居、亞拉伯人不張幕於彼、牧人不使羊群憩息於彼、惟曠野之猛獸藏伏於彼、鴟鴞棲於其室、鴟鴞棲於其室或作咆哮之聲盈於其室鴕鳥居於彼、野山羊跳躍於彼、豺狼嗥於其宮、野犬鳴於華殿、巴比倫受罰之日伊邇、其存之日不久矣、

主將網羅、烈火、硫磺、熱風、降於惡人之身、此乃惡人當得之報、

有一大力之天使、舉石大如磨磐者投於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、亦必如是猝然傾頹、不復得見、鼓琴、作樂、品簫、吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者與新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、爾之商賈、乃世之居尊位者、萬國皆以爾巫術而迷惑、
