故耶和華曰、時日將至、我必使戰鬥之聲、聞於亞捫族之喇巴邑、城垣變為瓦礫、居民盡遭焚燬、以色列族、昔為敵所虜、後轉虜其敵。

耶和华说：日子将到，我必使人听见打仗的喊声，是攻击亚扪人拉巴的喊声。拉巴要成为乱堆；属他的乡村要被火焚烧。先前得以色列地为业的，此时以色列倒要得他们的地为业。这是耶和华说的。

In the days to come,” says the Lord,“ I will sound the battle cry against your city of Rabbah. It will become a desolate heap of ruins, and the neighboring towns will be burned. Then Israel will take back the land you took from her,” says the Lord.

Therefore look, the days are coming— this is the LORD’s declaration— when I will make the shout of battle heard against Rabbah of the Ammonites. It will become a desolate mound, and its surrounding villages will be set on fire. Israel will dispossess their dispossessors, says the LORD.

Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ When I will cause an alarm of war to be heard Against Rabbah of the sons of Ammon; And it will become a desolate heap, And her towns will be set on fire. Then Israel will take possession of his possessors,” Says the Lord.

Because you did that, I, the LORD, affirm that a time is coming when I will make Rabbah, the capital city of Ammon, hear the sound of the battle cry. It will become a mound covered with ruins. Its villages will be burned to the ground. Then Israel will take back its land from those who took their land from them. I, the Lord, affirm it!

Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon; and it will become a desolate heap, and her daughters will be burned with fire: then Israel will possess those who possessed him,” says Yahweh.

耶利米曰、我聞吹角戰鬥之聲、我心戚戚、中懷不安、不禁哀鳴。

哩乏音族所存者、惟巴山王噩、其床以鐵為之、長九尺、廣四尺、布肘為度、今在亞捫人之喇巴有之。

一至亞捫之喇巴、一至猶大之耶路撒冷城垣。

火焚喇巴城垣、燬其宮殿、戰鬥之日、大聲疾呼、勢若狂飆驟起、

歲聿云暮、列王出戰之時、大闢特遣約押、與其臣僕、及以色列族眾、使滅亞捫族、環攻喇巴。大闢駐於耶路撒冷。

故我必使東方之人、據爾四境、建室廬於其間、必食爾果、飲爾乳、我必使喇巴為駝廄、亞捫地為牧場、俾知我乃耶和華。主耶和華又曰、爾見以色列民遭難、則鼓掌頓足、欣喜不勝。

耶和華兮、郇邑之民、猶大之女、聞爾法度、靡不欣喜兮、

亞摩哩人之邑希實本、及其四周之鄉里、以色列族悉取之、居處其中。

耶和華矜恤雅各家、以色列族、復選為民、使歸故土、異邦人附之、以色列族為異邦人所扶翼、旋返桑梓、即耶和華駐蹕之所、得異邦人為僕為婢、供其服役、昔則見擄於人、今則擄人、昔則受制於人、今則制人。以色列族蒙耶和華援手、免於患難、不復觳觫、脫於賤役、遂作歌以刺巴比倫王、歌曰、昔虐遇人、強取人金者、今已絕矣。

郇山之人、猶大之民、樂爾彰癉兮。

摩西賜業與伽得支派、循其世系、其界自雅設與基列諸邑、亞捫族地之半、至喇巴相對之亞羅耳、

爾之姊撒馬利亞及其眾女、居於爾左、爾之妹所多馬及其眾女、居於爾右、爾視其所為、尚為細故、效其愆尤、猶為不足、更作不義、深堪痛疾。爾妹所多馬、及其眾女所為、與爾暨眾女較之、猶不為已甚、我耶和華固言之矣。爾姊所多馬、與其眾女、所犯之罪、即驕傲、饕餮、逸志、不恤貧乏、詡詡自誇、干我所痛疾之事、故我不得不去之。撒馬利亞人、蹈於愆尤、未及爾之半、乃爾較彼、多行不義、則撒馬利亞之過為尤細。爾責姊妹、適以取辱、蓋爾所為、較彼尤甚、彼之過較爾為輕、故爾當蒙羞抱愧。越在後日、所多馬與撒馬利亞、及其眾女、我將返其俘囚、當時亦必返爾俘囚、爾遭患難、爾姊妹見之、怨心悉平、則爾必自慙其素行。爾之姊妹、所多馬、與撒馬利亞、及其眾女、恢復故土、當時爾及眾女、亦可恢復故土。

耶和華以亞捫之事告眾、曰、以色列族豈無嗣子、崇事密君者、奚可強據伽得之地、而處其邑、

南方之人、必得以掃山、平原之民、將據非利士人地、亦得以法蓮、撒馬利亞田疇、便雅憫人將得基列、

遣使至大闢曰、我攻喇巴、絕其邑中水道。今爾可集餘民、建營攻擊、以陷其城、恐我獲勝、功歸於我。大闢集民往喇巴、攻城拔之。
