Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon attacked: This is what the Lord says:“ Arise, and attack Kedar and destroy the people of the East.

Here is what the Lord says about the people of Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor. Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, was planning to attack them. The Lord says to the armies of Babylon,“ Prepare for battle. Attack Kedar. Destroy the people of the east.

Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down. Thus says the Lord:“ Rise up, advance against Kedar! Destroy the people of the east!

This message was given concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor, which were attacked by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. This is what the Lord says:“ Advance against Kedar! Destroy the warriors from the East!

The LORD spoke about Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon conquered.“ Army of Babylon, go and attack Kedar. Lay waste those who live in the eastern desert.

Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck. Yahweh says:“ Arise, go up to Kedar, and destroy the children of the east.

And these[ are] the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

And[ so] it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these[ were they] thy merchants.

I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen,[ saying], Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.

For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing.

For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken[ it].

His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons,[ and] a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor[ any] son of man dwell in it.

I[ am] black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it[ is] the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars,[ which] dwell alone.

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up[ their voice], the villages[ that] Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
