I will bring terror on you from all those around you,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.“ Every one of you will be driven away, and no one will gather the fugitives.

主曰、我觀其喪膽退後、勇士潰敗、急於奔逃、並不回顧、四望驚惶、何故也、

奪其帳幕、群羊、擄其帷幄、器皿、駱駝、向之宣告、四周驚惶、

使其嫠婦較海沙愈眾、使殘暴之人、日中來殺其母子、使之倏然驚駭恐懼、

加略已陷、保障諸城已取、當是之日、摩押武士心驚膽怯、若婦臨產、摩押於主前、妄自尊大、必翦滅、不復成國、主曰、摩押居民歟、驚懼之事必臨爾、爾必陷於坎阱網羅、逃避驚懼之事者、必陷於坎阱、出自坎阱者、必罹於網羅、我必使摩押受罰之期速臨、此乃主所言、

爾由城破之處、各向前而逃、急遁於山、山或作鞏固之城此乃主所言、

蓋主如是云、我將使爾驚惶、使爾友朋見爾驚惶、彼將殞亡於敵人之刃、使爾目睹、我亦必以猶大眾、付於巴比倫王手、擄至巴比倫、亦擊之以刃、

我將使之聞風聲、立意歸其故土、在彼為刀所殺、○

先是主使亞蘭軍旅、聞車聲馬聲大軍之聲、則相語曰、以色列王必賄赫族諸王與伊及諸王、俱來攻我、故昏暮即起而逃遁、遺其帳幕馬驢、留營如舊、但願逃生、

惡人雖無人追襲、亦遁逃、惟善人毅然如獅、

爾弟遇害之日、爾不當旁觀、猶大族喪敗之日、爾不當欣喜、彼遭難之日、爾不當口出傲慢之言、我民遭禍之日、爾不當入其邑門、彼遭禍之日、爾不當旁立、觀其受苦、彼遭禍之日、爾不當伸手、攘其貨財、爾不當立於歧途、歧途或作隘口絕絕或作殺其逃脫者、彼遭難之日、爾不當將其遺民付於敵手、

謂之曰、主已將此地賜爾、為我所知、我儕悉懼爾、斯地一切居民、皆緣爾喪膽、

彼將曰、求爾設謀定議、於嚮午之時施蔭庇、有若昏夜、藏被驅逐者、勿使逃避者顯露、

驚懼之聲、常聞於耳、平康之時、殘賊忽至而害之、
