籠充以禽鳥、其室亦充以詭詐、因而昌盛富有、

籠之有鳥、以誘飛禽、斯民中藏偽詐、以致巨富、亦若是。

其室中充以詐得之財、若籠之充以鳥、因而強盛富有、

Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful

A hunter uses tricks to fill his cage with birds. And my people have filled their houses with a lot of goods. They have become rich and powerful.

Like a cage full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; therefore they have become great and rich;

Like a cage filled with birds, their homes are filled with evil plots. And now they are great and rich.

Like a cage full of birds, so their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have grown powerful and rich.

Like a cage filled with the birds that have been caught, their houses are filled with the gains of their fraud and deceit. That is how they have gotten so rich and powerful.

我怎能忘記惡人家中的不義之財，和那些可咒詛的小升斗呢？用不義的天平，和袋中詐騙的法碼的人，我怎能算他為清潔呢？

欺凌加上欺凌，詭詐加上詭詐（按照《馬索拉文本》，“欺凌加上欺凌，詭詐加上詭詐”作“你的住所在詭詐中；在詭詐裡”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），他們不肯認識我。”這是耶和華的宣告。

你這為自己的家積聚不義之財，在高處搭窩，以逃避災害的，有禍了！你剪除多國的民，反害了自己；你所謀算的，使你的家蒙羞。石頭必從牆裡呼叫，梁木必在樹中應聲。

如果他們說：“你跟我們來吧！我們要埋伏流人的血，我們要無故地潛伏傷害無辜的人；我們要好像陰間一般，把他們活生生吞下，他們整個被我們吞下，如同下坑的人一樣；這樣，我們必得著各樣貴重的財物，把掠物裝滿我們的房子。

他用強有力的聲音呼喊說：“傾倒了！大巴比倫傾倒了！成了鬼魔的住處，各樣污靈的監獄，一切污穢可憎之雀鳥的牢籠，

以色列是個商人，手裡拿著詭詐的天平，喜愛欺壓別人。以法蓮說：“我成了富翁，我為自己發了財；在我所有的收益中，人不能找出我有甚麼罪孽，可算為罪惡的。”

踐踏窮乏人又除掉國中困苦人的，你們要聽這話。你們說：“月朔甚麼時候過去，好讓我們可以賣五穀；安息日甚麼時候結束，好讓我們可以開市賣穀物。我們賣東西就把升斗弄小，收銀子卻用加重了的法碼，我們要用假秤欺騙人。我們用銀子買窮人，用一雙鞋換取窮乏人；連麥碎也賣掉。”

瑪律的居民，急待得著幸福，因有災禍從耶和華那裡降下，臨到耶路撒冷的城門。
