万军之耶和华说：看哪！我必攻击你，我要把你的（按照《马索拉文本》，「你的」作「她的」;现参照其他古译本翻译）战车焚烧成烟，刀剑必吞灭你的幼狮；我必从地上除去你的猎物，你使者的声音也必不再有人听见。

你们必在我的筵席上吃饱马匹、骑兵、勇士和所有的战士。这是主耶和华的宣告。’

雅各的神啊！因你的斥责，坐车的和骑马的都沉睡了。

你们要从四面八方攻击巴比伦，打开它的谷仓，把它堆起来好像堆谷物一样；把它彻底消灭，什么都不留下。

他使战争止息，直到地极；他把弓折毁，把矛砍断，把战车用火焚烧。
