Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必激動毀滅者的心，去攻擊巴比倫和住在立加米的人。

永恆主這麼說：『看吧，我必激動毁滅者的心去攻擊巴比倫和住在迦勒底的人。

耶和華曰、我必起肅殺之風、以擊巴比倫、及立加米居民、

耶和華曰、我使狂風、攻擊巴比倫、以及違予之人、

主如是云、我必使損害之狂風、擊巴比倫、及居其中逆我之人、

This is what the Lord says:“ See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai.

The Lord says,“ I will stir up the spirits of destroyers. They will march out against Babylon and its people.

Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon, against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai,

This is what the Lord says:“ I will stir up a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Babylonia.

This is what the LORD says: I am about to rouse the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and against the population of Leb-qamai.

This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am going to stir up The spirit of a destroyer against Babylon And against the inhabitants of Leb kamai.

Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, Against those who dwell in Leb Kamai, A destroying wind.

Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in Leb- kamai, a destroying wind.

This is what the Lord says: I am about to stir up a destructive wind against Babylon and against the population of Leb-qamai.

The LORD says,“ I will cause a destructive wind to blow against Babylon and the people who inhabit Babylonia.

Yahweh says:“ Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against those who dwell in Lebkamai, a destroying wind.

At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,[ Even] a full wind from those[ places] shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

Though he be fruitful among[ his] brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done[ it]?

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger,[ even] them that rejoice in my highness.The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.They come from a far country, from the end of heaven,[ even] the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows[ shall be] as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah[ were] oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Go up against the land of Merathaim,[ even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.

Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.

But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.

Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it[ is] the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
