Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! The Lord will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon.

Lift up a banner! Attack Babylon’s walls! Put more guards on duty! Station more of them to watch over you! Hide and wait to attack them! I will do what I have planned. I will do what I have decided to do against the people of Babylon.

你们要磨尖箭头，抓住盾牌。论到巴比伦，耶和华定意要毁灭它，所以激起玛代君王的心；这是耶和华报仇，为他的圣殿报仇。

那打碎你的人上到你面前。要看守堡垒，把守道路，要挺起腰来，大大使力。

你们要在万国中传扬，宣告，竖立大旗；要宣告，不可隐瞒，说：“巴比伦被攻取，彼勒蒙羞，米罗达惊惶。巴比伦的神像都蒙羞，它的偶像都惊惶。”

没有人能以智慧、聪明、谋略抵挡耶和华。

你们要在境内竖立大旗，在列邦中吹角，使列邦预备攻击巴比伦。要招集亚拉腊、米尼、亚实基拿各国前来攻击它，派将军攻击它，使马匹上来如粗暴的蝗虫；

你要打水预备受困；要加强防御，取土踹泥，做成砖模。在那里，火要吞灭你，刀必杀戮你，如蝻子般吞灭你。你人数增多如蝻子，增多如蝗虫吧！

当在列国中宣告：预备打仗，激发勇士，使所有战士上前来。要将犁头打成刀剑，镰刀打成戈矛；弱者要说：“我是勇士。”四围的列国啊，你们要速速前来，一同聚集。耶和华啊，求你使你的勇士降临。列国都当兴起，上到约沙法谷；因为我必坐在那里，审判四围的列国。挥镰刀吧！因为庄稼熟了；来踩踏吧！因为榨酒池满了。酒池已经满溢，因为他们的罪恶甚大。在断定谷有许多许多的人，因为耶和华的日子临近断定谷了。

耶和华成就了他所定的，应验了他古时所命定的。他倾覆，并不顾惜，他使仇敌向你夸耀，使你敌人的角高举。

你们要预备大小盾牌，往前上阵，套上车，骑上马！顶盔站立，磨枪披甲！我为何看见他们惊惶，转身退后呢？他们的勇士打败仗，急忙逃跑，并不回头；四围都有惊吓！这是耶和华说的。

艾城的王看见了，就和城里的人清早起来，急忙出去，他和所有的士兵到了所定的地点，在亚拉巴前，迎击以色列，与之交战；王并不知道城的后面有伏兵。

万民哪，任凭你们行恶，终必毁灭；远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！任凭你们束腰，终必毁灭；你们束起腰来，终必毁灭。任凭你们筹算什么，终必无效；不管你们讲定什么，总不成立；因为神与我们同在。

我要聚集万民，带他们下到约沙法谷去，在那里我要为我百姓，我产业以色列的缘故，向万民施行审判；因为他们把我的百姓分散到列国，瓜分了我的土地，
