Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.

你們套上車，騎上馬！頂盔站立，磨槍貫甲！

所有拉弓的，你們要在巴比倫的四圍擺陣，射箭攻擊她。不要愛惜箭枝，因她得罪了耶和華。

耶和華說：上去攻擊米拉大翁之地，又攻擊比割的居民。要追殺滅盡，照我一切所吩咐你的去行。

天上的眾星羣宿都不發光；日頭一出就變黑暗；月亮也不放光。我必因邪惡刑罰世界，因罪孽刑罰惡人，使驕傲人的狂妄止息，制伏強暴人的狂傲。我必使人比精金還少，使人比俄斐純金更少。我－萬軍之耶和華在忿恨中發烈怒的日子，必使天震動，使地搖撼，離其本位。人必像被追趕的鹿，像無人收聚的羊，各歸回本族，各逃到本土。凡被仇敵追上的必被刺死；凡被捉住的必被刀殺。他們的嬰孩必在他們眼前摔碎；他們的房屋必被搶奪；他們的妻子必被玷污。我必激動米底亞人來攻擊他們。米底亞人不注重銀子，也不喜愛金子。他們必用弓擊碎少年人，不憐憫婦人所生的，眼也不顧惜孩子。

「招集一切弓箭手來攻擊巴比倫。要在巴比倫四圍安營，不要容一人逃脫，照着她所做的報應她；她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她，因為她向耶和華－以色列的聖者發了狂傲。所以她的少年人必仆倒在街上。當那日，一切兵丁必默默無聲。這是耶和華說的。」

因為死亡上來，進了我們的窗戶，入了我們的宮殿；要從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年人。

要殺她的一切牛犢，使他們下去遭遇殺戮。他們有禍了，因為追討他們的日子已經來到。（

外頭有刀劍，內室有驚恐，使人喪亡，使少男、童女、吃奶的、白髮的，盡都滅絕。

因為那不憐憫人的，也要受無憐憫的審判；憐憫原是向審判誇勝。

看哪，有一種民從北方而來，並有一大國和許多君王被激動，從地極來到。他們拿弓和槍，性情殘忍，不施憐憫；他們的聲音像海浪匉訇。巴比倫城啊，他們騎馬，都擺隊伍如上戰場的人，要攻擊你。

拿你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人便為有福！
