“ Babylon must fall because of Israel’s slain, just as the slain in all the earth have fallen because of Babylon.

Indeed, Babylon is to fall for the slain of Israel, As the slain of all the earth have also fallen for Babylon.

As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, So at Babylon the slain of all the earth shall fall.

招集一切弓箭手来攻击巴比伦。要在巴比伦四围安营，不要容一人逃脱，照着他所做的报应他；他怎样待人，也要怎样待他，因为他向耶和华以色列的圣者发了狂傲。

耶和华说：“我必在你们眼前报复巴比伦人和迦勒底居民在锡安所行的诸恶。”

“抢夺我产业的啊，你们因欢喜快乐，且像踹谷撒欢的母牛犊，又像发嘶声的壮马。

锡安的居民要说：“巴比伦以强暴待我，损害我的身体，愿这罪归给他。”耶路撒冷人要说：“愿流我们血的罪，归到迦勒底的居民。”

将要被灭的巴比伦城啊，报复你像你待我们的，那人便为有福！拿你的婴孩摔在磐石上的，那人便为有福！

因为你们怎样论断人，也必怎样被论断；你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。

亚多尼比色说：“从前有七十个王，手脚的大拇指都被我砍断，在我桌子底下拾取零碎食物。现在神按着我所行的报应我了。”于是他们将亚多尼比色带到耶路撒冷，他就死在那里。

万军之耶和华如此说：“以色列人和犹大人一同受欺压；凡掳掠他们的都紧紧抓住他们，不肯释放。他们的救赎主大有能力，万军之耶和华是他的名。他必伸清他们的冤，好使全地得平安，并搅扰巴比伦的居民。”

因她的罪恶滔天；她的不义，神已经想起来了。她怎样待人，也要怎样待她，按她所行的加倍地报应她；用她调酒的杯加倍地调给她喝。

耶和华已经彰显我们的公义。来吧！我们可以在锡安报告耶和华我们神的作为。你们要磨尖了箭头，抓住盾牌。耶和华定意攻击巴比伦，将他毁灭，所以激动了玛代君王的心；因这是耶和华报仇，就是为自己的殿报仇。

“以色列是打散的羊，是被狮子赶出的。首先是亚述王将他吞灭，末后是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒将他的骨头折断。”所以万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：“我必罚巴比伦王和他的地，像我从前罚亚述王一样。

因为那不怜悯人的，也要受无怜悯的审判；怜悯原是向审判夸胜。
