我聽見祂對其餘的人說：「你們要跟隨他走遍全城，毫不留情地殺戮，將男女老幼全部殺盡，但你們不能傷害額上有記號的。你們要從聖所開始。」於是他們首先殺了殿前的眾長老。

親屬抬出屍體焚燒時，必問內屋的人：「你那裡還有別人嗎？」那人必回答：「沒有。」問的人必說：「不要作聲，我們不可提耶和華的名。」看啊，耶和華一聲令下，大屋頓成瓦礫，小房化為碎片。

「人子啊，你要拍掌對他們說預言，你要拿刀揮舞兩三次，預示這刀要從四面八方大肆殺戮，使他們嚇得肝膽俱裂，許多人倒在家門口。我已賜下這亮如閃電的刀，用來殺戮。
