“ They make ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph in the land. They go from one sin to another; they do not acknowledge me,” declares the Lord.

“ They get ready to use their tongues like bows,” announces the Lord.“ Their mouths shoot out lies like arrows. They tell lies to gain power in the land. They go from one sin to another. They do not pay any attention to me.

They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, declares the Lord.

“ My people bend their tongues like bows to shoot out lies. They refuse to stand up for the truth. They only go from bad to worse. They do not know me,” says the Lord.

“ They bend their tongue, as their bow, for falsehood. They have grown strong in the land, but not for truth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they don’t know me,” says Yahweh.

鼓舌欺人、勝於毒矢、口言平康、心謀殘害、

斯代之民、咸返其本、至於後世、不知耶和華、亦不知其為以色列族行諸異跡、

耶和華曰、我民愚昧、俱不知我、不明孰甚、作惡則智、為善則愚。

我已妄行、背逆我上帝耶和華、所謀不軌、言行俱謬。秉公義者、遠遁遙立、言真實者、仆於逵衢、不敢入邑。尚誠慤者不可得、改惡行者每遇害、援手無人、保護無人、耶和華見仁義衰頹、惄然憂之、彰厥仁義、顯厥大能、以拯斯民焉。

厥喉似破塋、其舌施詭詐、其唇藏蝮毒、

以利二子、行同匪類。不敬耶和華、

故勿懼、爾比多雀貴焉、凡認我於人前、我亦認之於我天父前、凡拒我於人前、我亦拒之於我天父前、

耶和華兮、人設詭計、施厥妄言、加害我躬、爾其拯救兮、詭詐者流、當如何以報之、維彼誑言、有若武士之利鏃、堅木之爇炭兮。

爾謀殘害、爾行詭譎、如薙髮之刀、其鋒銛利兮、爾作惡過於好善、嗜誑愈於真實、偽為之人、爾出莠言、

耶穌曰、我若自榮、則不得為榮、榮我者父、即爾所稱爾之上帝、爾不識之我識之、若我言不識、則誑如爾、惟我識之、而守其道、

良朋乎、余既殷勤啟迪、俾爾知共享救恩、則當寄書勸爾、為古聖徒所受之道、盡心辯論、

當此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、人子以父榮、偕聖使臨時、亦必恥其人矣、

惟諸兄弟不貪生而冒死、故賴羔流血、以所傳之道勝敵、

不為敵動心、如是、則敵自知必亡、而爾知賴上帝得救、

即世之上帝、惑不信者心、使肖上帝之基督福音之榮、不光照焉、我傳道不言己、乃言耶穌基督為主、緣耶穌為爾僕、昔上帝命光照暗、今照吾心、使知上帝榮、在耶穌基督而顯、

行惡惑眾之徒、浸久叢滋、欺人而自欺、

永生也者、知爾為獨一真上帝、且知耶穌基督、爾所遣者也、

各相欺誑、不言真實、舌出誑詞、孳孳為惡。

耶和華曰、彼毋需誨其兄弟鄰里、使識耶和華、蓋自尊逮卑、莫不知予、我將赦其罪、不錄其愆。

彼世人兮、礪其舌鋒、猶之利刃、出其語剌、無異發矢兮、不知戒懼、陰中無辜、出諸倉猝兮、

爾不傾耳以聽、仍強厥項、較祖尤甚。

彼既不以上帝存於中、上帝聽其喪心、行所不當行、

我不以基督福音為恥、是乃上帝大用、以救諸信者、先猶太、次希利尼、

以色列族、宜聽耶和華言、斯土之人、不識上帝、不言真實、不以矜憫為懷、故耶和華、將鞫斯民。彼妄發誓詞、專事誑言、淫人妻室、奪人貨財、殺戮人民、流血四境、故土地荒蕪、居民凋喪、野獸飛鳥海魚、俱必滅亡、

長於作惡、牧伯士師、俱索賄賂、大人所謀不軌、黨同為非、彼所為善者、等諸蒺藜、彼所為義者、同於荊棘、先知所言之災、其日伊邇、庶民潰亂、謹防鄰里、勿信友朋、對眷愛之妻、勿言機密之事、

爾嘗殺人害人、手污指穢、口尚虛詞、舌施詭詐。人喜涉訟、不懷公義、不尚真實、譸張為幻、藏於中者詭譎、行於外者邪慝。若煦蝮卵、若織蛛網、食其卵者必死、破其卵則蝮出。
