他口蜜腹劍，笑裡藏刀。

詭詐之徒啊！你會受到怎樣的懲罰呢？你會有什麼下場呢？

怨恨人的用美言掩飾自己，心中卻藏著詭詐。縱然他甜言蜜語，你也不可信他，因為他心中充滿各種可憎之事。雖然他用詭計掩飾怨恨，他的邪惡必被會眾揭穿。

他們必自作自受，被自己的舌頭所害。看見的人都嘲笑他們。

我的子民中有惡人，他們像捕鳥人一樣埋伏等候，設下網羅陷害人。

押尼珥回到希伯崙的時候，約押就把他帶到城門的甕洞，裝作與他密談，乘機用短劍刺入他的肚子，把他殺死了，為他兄弟亞撒黑報了仇。

他們彼此欺騙，不說真話；他們說謊成性，不知疲倦地肆意犯罪；

約押對亞瑪撒說：「兄弟，你好嗎？」他用右手抓住亞瑪撒的鬍子，親吻他。亞瑪撒毫無防備，被約押一刀刺入肚子，肚破腸流而死。然後，約押和他兄弟亞比篩繼續追趕比基利的兒子示巴。

出賣耶穌的猶大預先和他們定了暗號，說：「我親吻誰，誰就是耶穌，你們把祂抓起來。」猶大隨即走到耶穌跟前，說：「老師，你好。」然後親吻耶穌。
