「接受你們的，就是接受我；接受我的，就是接受差派我來的那一位。

「我確確實實地告訴你們：誰聽我的話，又相信派我來的那一位，誰就有永恆的生命。他不但不被定罪，而且已經出死入生了。

我確確實實地告訴你們：那接受我所派的人，就是接受我；接受我的，就是接受派我來的那一位。」

藉著基督，你們信靠那使他從死人中復活、又賜他榮耀的神，以致你們的信仰和盼望也都在於神。

「無論誰奉我的名接受這樣一個小孩子，就是接受我；接受我的，不是接受我，而是接受差派我來的那一位。」

耶穌在聖殿裡教導人，呼喊說：「你們認識我，也知道我是從哪裡來的。其實我不是憑自己而來的；派我來的那一位是真實的，你們卻不認識他；

耶穌說了這些話，就大聲呼喚：「拉撒路，出來！」

智慧不是在呼喚嗎？聰慧不是在揚聲嗎？

「啊！所有口渴的人哪，你們要來到水邊！沒有錢的人哪，你們也要來，買東西吃！來吧，買酒和奶，但不用錢，也不用什麼代價！你們為什麼把錢花在非食物的東西上呢？為什麼把自己的辛苦所得花在不能使人飽足的東西上呢？你們要留心聽我的話，要吃美物，讓自己的心靈得享肥甘！你們要側耳聽，來到我這裡；你們要聽，就得以存活。我必與你們立永遠的約，就是給大衛的信實慈愛的約。

智慧在街道上呼喊，在廣場上揚聲；
