Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

What I’m about to tell you is true. Anyone who believes in me will do the works I have been doing. In fact, they will do even greater things. That’s because I am going to the Father.

“ Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

“ Truly I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father.

“ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.

“ I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father.

Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;

The seventy returned with joy, saying,“ Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”He said to them,“ I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

But Peter said,“ I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.

She was doing this for many days. But Paul, becoming greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” It came out that very hour.

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out.

Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.

For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.

They even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at the least his shadow might overshadow some of them.

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another,“ Behold, aren’t all these who speak Galileans?How do we hear, everyone in our own native language?Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia,Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”

The word of God increased and the number of the disciples greatly multiplied in Jerusalem. A great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

Then Jesus said,“ I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.

But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you now see and hear.

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;

You heard how I told you,‘ I go away, and I come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said‘ I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

saying,“ What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it.

But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,

Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him.He is‘ the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
