Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

多馬曰、主、爾所往、我且不知、焉知其途乎、

多瑪曰、主往之所、我儕不知、何能知其途乎、

多默曰：『主乎、吾儕既不知爾之所往、又焉能識其途哉？』

Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

“ No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said.“ We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Thomas* said to Him,“ Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?”

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?

“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where You’re going. How can we know the way?”

Thomas therefore, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples,“ Let’s go also, that we may die with him.”

He answered him,“ Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”

You have come to need milk, and not solid food.

He said to them,“ Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Jesus, perceiving it, said to them,“ Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet, neither understand? Is your heart still hardened?Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”After eight days again his disciples were inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the middle, and said,“ Peace be to you.”Then he said to Thomas,“ Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”Thomas answered him,“ My Lord and my God!”
