You did not choose me, but I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, but a cunning person takes lives.

For we can’t do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son likewise does these things.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.By these he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness,godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you now have.I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent, to wake you up with a reminder,since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.And I will also make every effort so that you are able to recall these things at any time after my departure.For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased!”We ourselves heard this voice when it came from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain.

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account.

Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.

And he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none.He told the vineyard worker,‘ Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil?’“ But he replied to him,‘ Sir, leave it this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.Perhaps it will produce fruit next year, but if not, you can cut it down.’”

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”

But now, since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification— and the outcome is eternal life!

If this man were not from God, he wouldn’t be able to do anything.”

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—

For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body— so also is Christ.

Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.

for the fruit of the light consists of all goodness, righteousness, and truth—

that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and came to truly appreciate God’s grace.

in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another.

Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

They feed on the sin of my people; they have an appetite for their iniquity.
