I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—

I have given them the glory you gave me. I did this so they would be one, just as we are one.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

“ I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.

I have given them the glory you have given me, so that they may be one as we are one.

The glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one;

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one;

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

“ If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God,that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God.For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation,

which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

“ Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,
