彼得远远地跟着耶稣，一直进入大祭司的院里，和差役一同坐在火光里烤火。

我没有和虚谎人同坐，也不与瞒哄人的同群。我恨恶恶人的会，必不与恶人同坐。耶和华啊，我要洗手表明无辜，才环绕你的祭坛；我好发称谢的声音，也要述说你一切奇妙的作为。耶和华啊，我喜爱你所住的殿和你显荣耀的居所。不要把我的灵魂和罪人一同除掉；不要把我的性命和流人血的一同除掉。他们的手中有奸恶，右手满有贿赂。

我的灵啊，不要与他们同谋；我的心哪，不要与他们联络；因为他们趁怒杀害人命，任意砍断牛腿大筋。

不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐亵慢人的座位，

西门彼得正站着烤火，有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得不承认，说：“我不是。”

基督和彼列有什么相和呢？信主的和不信主的有什么相干呢？神的殿和偶像有什么相同呢？因为我们是永生神的殿，就如神曾说：“我要在他们中间居住，在他们中间来往；我要作他们的神；他们要作我的子民。”又说：“你们务要从他们中间出来，与他们分别；不要沾不洁净的物，我就收纳你们。

你们不要自欺；滥交是败坏善行。

二人既被释放，就到会友那里去，把祭司长和长老所说的话都告诉他们。

他们上了岸，就看见那里有炭火，上面有鱼，又有饼。

他在那里进了一个洞，就住在洞中。耶和华的话临到他说：“以利亚啊，你在这里做什么？”

耶稣极其伤痛，祷告更加恳切，汗珠如大血点滴在地上。
