顧謂售鴿者曰：『速收拾以去！勿以吾父之室、轉為貿利之場！』

But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.

And he was teaching them and saying to them,“ Is it not written,‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”

They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing,

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

A merchant, in whose hands are false balances, he loves to oppress.Ephraim has said,“ Ah, but I am rich; I have found wealth for myself; in all my labors they cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Jesus said to her,“ Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

For a man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Artemis, brought no little business to the craftsmen.These he gathered together, with the workmen in similar trades, and said,“ Men, you know that from this business we have our wealth.And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a great many people, saying that gods made with hands are not gods.And there is danger not only that this trade of ours may come into disrepute but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis may be counted as nothing, and that she may even be deposed from her magnificence, she whom all Asia and the world worship.”

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

Jesus answered,“ I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.
