對他們說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼這麼做，你們就說『主需要牠，會很快把牠送回這裡來的。』」兩個門徒去了，果然發現一頭驢駒拴在岔路口一個門外，他們就解開驢駒。站在那裡的一些人問：「你們解開驢駒做什麼呢？」他們就照著耶穌所吩咐的回答，那些人就讓他們牽走了。

除酵節的第一日，就是人們宰殺逾越節羔羊的那一天，耶穌的門徒們問他：「你要我們到哪裡去預備，好讓你吃逾越節的晚餐呢？」於是耶穌差派了他的兩個門徒，對他們說：「你們進城去，會有一個人提著一罐水迎面而來，你們就跟著他。他進哪一家，你們就對那家的主人說：『老師問：我的客房，就是我與我的門徒們一起吃逾越節晚餐的客房在哪裡呢？』他會給你們看樓上一間預備好的大房間。你們就在那裡為我們預備吧。」兩個門徒出去，進了城，所看到的正如耶穌對他們所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的晚餐。到了晚上，耶穌與十二使徒一起來了。

酒用盡了，耶穌的母親對他說：「他們沒有酒了。」

有主的一位天使對腓利說：「你起來，順著那條從耶路撒冷下到加沙的路，往南走。」那裡是曠野。腓利就起身去了。看哪，有一個埃塞俄比亞人，是個太監，是埃塞俄比亞坎蒂絲女王的大臣，統管她整個國庫。他到耶路撒冷去敬拜後，在回去的時候，坐在他的馬車裡誦讀先知以賽亞的書。聖靈對腓利說：「你上前去，貼近那馬車走。」腓利跑過去，聽見他正在誦讀先知以賽亞的書，就問：「難道你真的明白你所讀的嗎？」太監回答說：「如果沒有人指教我，我怎麼能明白呢？」他就請腓利上來和他同坐。太監誦讀的那段經文是這樣的：「他像羊被牽去宰殺，又像羊羔在剪毛的人面前默默無聲，他也這樣不開口。他在屈辱中，公義被奪走了，誰能述說他的世代呢？因為他的生命從地上被奪走了。」太監對腓利說：「請問，先知說的這話是關於誰呢？是關於自己，還是關於別人呢？」腓利就開口，從這一段經文開始，向他傳講耶穌的福音。當他們沿路前行的時候，來到一個有水的地方。太監說：「看哪，有水！有什麼能阻止我受洗呢？」

他的母親對僕人們說：「他吩咐你們什麼，你們就做什麼。」
