On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them!“ Peace be with you,” he said.

And as they spake these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit.And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here anything to eat?And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.And he took it, and ate before them.And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures;and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.Ye are witnesses of these things.And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.

Yet no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne;

I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

And I went unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,

to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all( being first, by interpretation, King of righteousness, and then also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith Jehovah; and I will heal him.

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.Judas( not Iscariot) saith unto him, Lord, what is come to pass that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
