The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

其他的门徒就对他说：“我们已经看见主了。”多马却对他们说：“除非我看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，用我的手探入他的肋旁，我绝不信。”

其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”

其他的门徒对他说：“我们已经见过主了。”多马对他们说：“除非我亲眼看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，又用我的手探入他的肋旁，我决不相信。”

后来，其他的门徒就告诉他：“我们看到主了！”他却说：“我如果不看到他手上的钉痕，把指头放进那钉痕，再把手放进他的肋旁，我就绝不相信！”

那些門徒就對他說：「我們已經看見主了。」多馬卻說：「我非看見他手上的釘痕，用指頭探入那釘痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我總不信。」

眾門徒告之曰、我儕已見主矣、多瑪曰、我若不見其手中釘跡、不以指探其釘跡、不以手探其脅、則不信也、

他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So they told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ First I must see the nail marks in his hands. I must put my finger where the nails were. I must put my hand into his side. Only then will I believe.”

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

They told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

So the other disciples were telling him,“ We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

So the other disciples kept telling him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”

The other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;Wondrous works in the land of Ham,[ and] terrible things by the Red sea.Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy[ them].Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.

And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left[ us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard[ it].

Now the just shall live by faith: but if[ any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation,[ and] as[ in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.Forty years long was I grieved with[ this] generation, and said, It[ is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt[ his] fisher’s coat[ unto him],( for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt,[ in] the field of Zoan.He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave[ them] drink as[ out of] the great depths.He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?Therefore the LORD heard[ this], and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and[ to] my God, and your God.Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and[ that] he had spoken these things unto her.Then the same day at evening, being the first[ day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace[ be] unto you.And when he had so said, he shewed unto them[ his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God,[ even] to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.Him hath God exalted with his right hand[ to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.And we are his witnesses of these things; and[ so is] also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say,[ It will be] fair weather: for the sky is red.And in the morning,[ It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O[ ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not[ discern] the signs of the times?A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.And they told what things[ were done] in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace[ be] unto you.But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them[ his] hands and[ his] feet.And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

If I had called, and he had answered me;[ yet] would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
