Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

What I’m about to tell you is true. We speak about what we know. We are witnesses about what we have seen. But still you people do not accept what we say.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony.

“ Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and bear witness of that which we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

“ I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony.

I tell you the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

Jesus answered them and said,“ My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”

For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts;

Then Jesus said to them,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water, And die of thirst.

I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“ And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,‘ These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:“ Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

“ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

“ If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved.He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.

And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true.For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

and saw Him saying to me,‘ Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.’

Jesus answered,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved.So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word:“ The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,saying,‘ Go to this people and say:“ Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive;For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”’

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
