So the women hurried away from the tomb. They were afraid, but they were filled with joy. They ran to tell the disciples.

They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the 11 disciples and those with them. They were all gathered together.

A woman from Samaria came to get some water. Jesus said to her,“ Will you give me a drink?”

The women were shaking and confused. They went out and ran away from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.Jesus rose from the dead early on the first day of the week. He appeared first to Mary Magdalene. He had driven seven demons out of her.She went and told those who had been with him. She found them crying. They were very sad.

They came back from the tomb. They told all these things to the 11 apostles and to all the others.
