第三天在加利利的迦拿有婚事。耶穌的母親在那裏；耶穌和門徒也被請去赴婚筵。酒缺乏的時候、耶穌的母親對耶穌說：『他們沒有酒了。』耶穌對他說：『媽媽，那與你與我何干呢？我的鐘點還沒有到啊。』他母親對僕役們說：『他告訴你們甚麼，你們總要作甚麼。』照猶太人潔淨的規矩，有六個石頭水缸擺在那裏，每一個可以盛兩三桶水。耶穌對他們說：『把水缸裝滿了水。』他們就給裝滿了、直到上邊。他又對他們說：『如今舀出來，送給管筵席的。』他們就送了去。管筵席的嘗出那水已變成了酒，不知道是哪裏來的（只有舀水的僕役們知道）；管筵席的便叫新郎來，對他說：『人都是先擺上好酒；等人有了醉意了，才擺上次的；你倒把好酒留到現在啊！』耶穌在加利利的迦拿行了這頭一件神迹、來顯出他的榮耀；他的門徒就信了他。

每逢他殺了他們的時候，他們總求問他，總回心轉意、迫切切地尋求上帝。

在患難的日子你要呼求我，我便救拔你；你就榮耀我。』

他們到了羣眾那裏，有一個人上耶穌跟前來，跪在他面前說：『主啊，憐恤我的兒子，因為他患癲癇病，受苦着呢：他屢次跌在火裏，屢次跌在水裏。

和義伯崙、利合、哈們、加拿，直到大西頓；

因為他有一個獨生女兒、約十二歲、快要死了。耶穌去的時候，羣眾擠着他。

耶穌正向他們說這些話的時候，忽有一個會堂管事來拜他說：『我的女兒剛死去；但是你來，按手在她身上，她就會活。』

當時在一處的有西門彼得、和稱為雙生的多馬，有加利利的迦拿人拿但業、和西庇太的兩個兒子，另外還有兩個門徒。

我必返回我的原處，等到他們自認有罪，急難臨到他們時，他們必急切尋求我，尋求見我的面。

忽有一個迦南婦人從那境內出來，嚷着說：『主啊，大衛的子孫哪，可憐我；我女兒被鬼附得很苦呢。』

有一個百夫長的僕人正患着病，快要死了；這僕人是他所器重的。
