不存其道於爾衷、蓋其所遣者、爾不信之也、

其道不存爾心、以所遣者、爾不信也、

其道不存於爾心、以其所遣者、爾不信也、

且心中亦不存其道也、是無他、爾等不信其所遣者也。

nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.

And his word does not live in you. That’s because you do not believe the one he sent.

and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.

You don’t have his word residing in you, because you don’t believe the one he sent.

Also you do not have His word remaining in you, because you do not believe Him whom He sent.

But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he sent, him ye believe not.

You don’t have His word living in you, because you don’t believe the One He sent.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.

You don’t have his word living in you, because you don’t believe him whom he sent.

I have written to you who are God’s children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God’s word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Jesus shouted to the crowds,“ If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me.For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me.I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it.But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken.

Follow my advice, my son; always treasure my commands.Obey my commands and live! Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes.

Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

because I know you don’t have God’s love within you.For I have come to you in my Father’s name, and you have rejected me. Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them.

The Lord, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel, says to the one who is despised and rejected by the nations, to the one who is the servant of rulers:“ Kings will stand at attention when you pass by. Princes will also bow low because of the Lord, the faithful one, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.“ There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me?Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.”

My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands.Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.

If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.But since you don’t believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham. And yet some of you are trying to kill me because there’s no room in your hearts for my message.
