yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

But you refuse to come to me and receive life.

But you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

and ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, says to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings shall see and rise up, princes, and they shall worship, because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

Why, when I came, was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst.

Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”

Who has believed our message? To whom has Yahweh’s arm been revealed?For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him.

Simon Peter answered him,“ Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.

But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me.Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?

How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn’t believe in him,that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke,“ Lord, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”For this cause they couldn’t believe, for Isaiah said again,“ He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them.”Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” He who hears, let him say,“ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
